GSM gateways (Fixed Cellular Terminals,FCTs,
Fixed Wireless Terminals, SIM-Boxs) cover a
variety of possibilities, both at mobile and
stationary applications without fixed network
access up to PBX connection. In order to use
special features ECOTEL® GSM can be connected to the trunk side of the PBX at the
same time. In every situation ECOTEL® GSM offers a least-cost connection to GSM
networks (fax and phone).
ECOTEL® GSM establishes a direct and low cost connection between fixed networks
and GSM mobile networks (900/1800/1900). It serves as the basis for a wide range
of variants for applications.
