GSM gateway system with PBX functionality The multichannel GSM gateway system
ECOTEL® VTM flex enables companies to realize mobile least cost routing (LCR) into
GSM, 3G and VoIP networks. At the same time it provides modular PBX functions
which companies can use to upgrade their existing PBXs.
ECOTEL® VTM flex integrates mobiles as virtual extensions into the existing PBX
environment. If necessary VTMflex can upgrade the PBX with functions like CTI
(Computer Telephony Integration), IVR (Interactive Voice Response), mailboxes,
queuing systems, voice logging and conferencing. This functions can be activated via
licences. The customers will pay only for the necessary functions.

Conferance Server
VTM Flex includes Conferance Server.
Conferance which are initiated by a desk phone in conferencing mode generates cost
for each party which is add to conferance. If the conference is joined by party aboard,
conferencing can become be a massive cost factor.
By using the VTM Flex conference server option you have several virtual conference
rooms. Each party dials individually into the conference. the arrival of the new
member is indicated by a tone.
CTI option
The CTI Option combined with queuing option makes the VTM Flex a call center
solution.
VTM Flex offer a TAPI interfaces, so any 3rd Party CTI software can use for :
- Indicating actives call
- Indicating actives call in the queue
- Pop up window with caller information
- Setting up calls
Interactive Voice Respond
VTM Flex allow to define IVR trees. With a few mouse click a complex IVR dial-in
can be implemented. An IVR can save time for the customer, and for the company
Important for a high performance
- The IVR tree must be balanced
- The tree should not have more than two level
- It should be limited to four item in each branch
The VTM Flex Mail Box System offers the standard mailbox functions like :
- Recording and user defined welcome message
- Inserting a spoken time stamp
- Inserting spoken information for callback
- Recording the message
- Playback of message
- Deleting message
- Additional VTM Flex can convert the message into E-mail format and send
the message as e-mail
- The mailbox function require a special licence wihc is sold seperately
